Job Description

Permanent Position - Construction Helper (NOC 7611)

Start Date - As soon as possible

Main Location - 14683 62 ave, Surrey, BC, V3S 6N4

Work Location - Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver as per company contracts.

Wage rate - $21 per hour

Work Duration - 40 hours per week

Education - No education required

Experience - No Experience Required. On job training will be provided.

Language - Basic knowledge of English.

Job Duties

• Assist trades men in constructing, renovating residential homes and other wood and cement structures.

• Deliver or hold materials or tools to help tradesman and, help in other activities.

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials. Select tools, equipment, and materials from storage and transport items to work site

• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors, and pumps [Also see: Work from Home with Zoom Meet - OGP Summit]

• Deliver lumber planks, tools, nails, cement, glue, tiles, colour and other material on work site.

• Help cut timbers, lumber and/or panelling to specified dimensions, and drill holes in timbers or lumber.

• Assist in shaping, measuring, and assembling wood material, cement material, tiles and related activities.

• Operate various hand and power tools

• Mix, Pour and spread material such as concrete

• Clean and prepare surfaces.

• Assist team in completing the rough and finish stages of the stucco portions

Working setting - The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, overtime if required.

Working Conditions - Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.
